Services We Offer
The best way to prevent the disruption caused by equipment breakdowns is regular servicing. Our long standing customers will testify that the number of breakdowns is significantly decreased if regular servicing is carried out.
John's commercial kitchens service engineers cover extensive areas for catering equipment servicing and maintenance. We offer one off servicing on one or more pieces of equipment, or we can arrange regular/annual service contracts.
As part of an John's commercial kitchens service contract we service your equipment once or twice a year, keeping you up-to-date when your next service is due. You get reduced call out charges on breakdowns and your call outs and you will be given priority over non-contract customers.
When your equipment breaks down, we know the level of disruption this causes to your kitchen. Because of this we endeavour to get your equipment up and running in the shortest time possible. John's commercial kitchens have a highly qualified team of catering equipment engineers covering extensive areas for catering equipment repairs. Our engineers are Gas Safe registered and they attend regular training sessions to keep them up-to-date with technological advances in catering equipment.
At times of peak demand we also utilise highly recommended, sub-contract engineers, who are also fully trained and have worked with John's commercial kitchens for a number of years.
Our catering equipment engineers carry as many spare parts as possible, endeavouring to repair equipment on the first visit. If spare parts are needed then we provide a written quotation and equipment report, for you to decide whether to continue further with the repair. In the worst case scenario we can discuss the replacement and installation of a new piece of equipment if required.
Johns Commercial Kichens make life easier, being a one-stop shop for all of your catering equipment needs. We can save you time and money so why make life more complicated than it needs to be?
We are agents for the countries leading catering equipment manufacturers including Dawson, Dualit, Electrolux, Enodis, Falcon, Hobart, Rational, Moffat, Parry, Robot Coupe.

At John’s, it is essential that our clients not only receive a superb, custom-designed kitchen, but that their deadlines are met and they are kept informed on all aspects of their installation THAT is why, as soon as you have formally agreed your final order with our kitchen designers and consultants, you will be assigned a dedicated project manager who will become directly responsible for overseeing every aspect of your kitchen design and for keeping you fully informed every step of the way. Once you have approved our final design layout, your project manager will issue you with a very comprehensive set of 'service' drawings for you and your contractors. He will then be readily available for briefing you and your building contractors, plumbers, electricians and all other parties involved, to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the work required to prepare the kitchen for installation, answering any queries or issues which may be raised.
One of the key functions of project management is dealing with all necessary administration and paperwork and placing orders for your equipment. This is subsequently delivered to our warehouse for storage prior to the installation date, giving us complete logistical control over the project. Your project manager will be available to you, your architect and contractors. He will attend all necessary site meetings to offer advice and guidance, answer any questions or deal with any possible pitfalls before they occur. There are times when site circumstances will demand adjustments to your kitchen design and your project manager will oversee all such changes as well as making routine site visits to ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and, most importantly, that everything is running to schedule.
